Global Dynamics of Some Exponential Type Systems

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, Volume 2020, Issue 1, 2020., 2020
We explore the boundedness and persistence, existence of an invariant rectangle, local dynamical properties about the unique positive fixed point, global dynamics by the discrete‐time Lyapunov function, and the rate of convergence of some (2,3)‐type exponential systems of difference equations. Finally, theoretical results are numerically verified.

Stability, Neimark–Sacker Bifurcation, and Approximation of the Invariant Curve of Certain Homogeneous Second‐Order Fractional Difference Equation

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, Volume 2020, Issue 1, 2020., 2020
We investigate the local and global character of the unique equilibrium point and boundedness of the solutions of certain homogeneous fractional difference equation with quadratic terms. Also, we consider Neimark–Sacker bifurcations and give the asymptotic approximation of the invariant curve.

On a System of k‐Difference Equations of Order Three

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, Volume 2020, Issue 1, 2020., 2020
In this paper, we deal with the global behavior of the positive solutions of the system of k‐difference equations un+11=α1un−11/β1+α1un−22r1, un+12=α2un−12/β2+α2un−23r2,…, un+1k=αkun−1k/βk+αkun−21rk,n∈ℕ0, where the initial conditions u−lil=0,1,2 are nonnegative real numbers and the parameters αi, βi, γi, and ri are positive real numbers for i = 1,2, …,

On the recursive sequence xn+1 = γxn-1+δxn-2/Cxn-1+Dxn-2

open access: yes, 2003
We investigate the global character of solutions of the equation in the title with positive parameters and positive initial conditions. We obtain results about the global attractivity of the equilibrium, the existence and attractivity of the period-two ...

Discretized data and the (two) SCEN_FIT solutions that result from the optimal subgraphs given in Figure 5.

open access: yes, 2013
The color coding is the same as in Figure 3. All six optimal subgraphs contained in Figure 5 give rise to the same SCEN_FIT solution, except for the CREB column.

Fully Printed Piezoelectric Polymer Loudspeakers with Enhanced Acoustic Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 21, Issue 11, November 2019., 2019
Sandwich‐layer structures of poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate)(PEDOT:PSS)‐ poly(vinylidene fluoride‐trifluoroethylene) (P(VDF‐TrFE))‐PEDOT:PSS are fully printed on paper substrates. Dielectric spectroscopy demonstrates a fall‐off frequency of about 8 kHz. The P(VDF‐TrFE) layer is poled with a sufficiently high electric field.

On the recursive sequence xn+1=(α+βxn)/(Bxn+Cxn−1)

open access: yes, 2001
The global character of solutions of a recursive sequence were investigated. The parameters and initial conditions of the nonlinear, second order and rational difference equation were nonnegative and positive, respectively.

Development of a Vanadium Redox Flow Battery Operating with Thin Membrane Coupled with a Highly Selective and Stable Silica‐Based Barrier Layer

open access: yesEnergy Technology, Volume 12, Issue 8, August 2024.
Using silica nanoparticles in the barrier layer allows for the improvement of its selectivity, reducing the self‐discharge of a vanadium redox flow battery by 5 times compared to the supporting membrane, without affecting efficiency. Due to its high selectivity and stability, the barrier can also be used coupled with a thin membrane, enhancing energy ...

A low kickback fully differential dynamic comparator for pipeline analog‐to‐digital converters

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 1, Issue 4, November 2019., 2019
This study presents a fully differential dynamic comparator with low kickback noise, an effect caused by voltage variations in the regeneration nodes of these types of circuit. Given their low power dissipation, dynamic comparators are key circuits in analog‐to‐digital converters (ADCs), especially in pipelined ADCs.

Dynamical Behavior and Expressions of Solutions of a Class of Higher‐Order Nonlinear Difference Equations

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, Volume 2024, Issue 1, 2024.
The aim of this article is to get the forms of the solutions of the following nonlinear higher‐order difference equations χs+1=χs−31k+/±1±Πl=1kχs−31l+,s=012,,,…, where the initial conditions χ−j, j = 0, 1, 2, …, 3k − 1 and k ∈ {1, 2, …} are arbitrary real numbers.
