Use of Multisite Electroanatomic Mapping to Facilitate Ablation of Intra‐Atrial Reentry Following the Mustard Procedure

open access: yes, 2000
Multisite Electroanatomic Mapping. Ablation of intra‐atrial reentrant tachycardia following Mustard or Senning procedures has low success rates. The Biosense Carto system was used to map intra‐atrial reentry in a 22‐year‐old woman who had undergone a ...

O‐GlcNAcylation Regulation of SNAP29‐Dependent Autophagy Activation Dictates Chemoresistance in Gastric Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Model illustrating the proposed mechanism by which chemotherapy‐induced downregulation of OGT disrupts SNAP29 O‐GlcNAcylation, promoting STX17‐SNAP29‐VAMP8 SNARE complex assembly and protective autophagy, leading to chemoresistance, which in turn establishes a feedforward loop to perpetuate drug tolerance.

Acute and long-term outcome after catheter ablation of supraventricular tachycardia in patients after the Mustard or Senning operation for D-transposition of the great arteries.

open access: yes, 2013
Data about the acute and long-term outcome of catheter ablation in patients with D-transposition of the great arteries (d-TGA) post-Mustard/Senning operation are scarce. This single-centre retrospective analysis includes 26 patients (mean age 28.7 ± 6.7 ...

Miro1 Protects Against Acute Kidney Injury Through Modulating Mitochondrial Homeostasis via Interaction With Sirt6

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Ischemia‐reperfusion reduces Sirt6 activity, thereby increasing Miro1 acetylation. Hyperacetylated Miro1 exhibits perinuclear distribution and degradation, thereby inducing mitochondrial dysfunction and promoting apoptosis in renal tubular epithelial cells. This pathway reveals a mechanistic link between Sirt6‐mediated deacetylation and Miro1 stability

Ahcy Acts as an Effector of Hnf4a‐Driven Super‐Enhancer Activation to Alleviate MASLD During Intermittent Fasting

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Our study identifies an Hnf4a‐driven super‐enhancer of hepatic Ahcy that mediates the protective effects of intermittent fasting against MASLD. Disruption of the Ahcy super‐enhancer reduces Ahcy expression and exacerbates lipid accumulation. This pathway prevents aberrant promoter hypermethylation by maintaining the SAM/SAH balance, as exemplified by ...

Visible‐Light‐Mediated Lewis Acid‐Catalyzed Diradical Hydrogen Atom Transfer Reaction of Enamides

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The Lewis acid catalysis was crucial for the success of the DHAT reaction of enamides by lowering the energy of the triplet excited state and modulating the reactivity of the formed diradical intermediate in a carbon‐to‐carbon 1,5‐DHAT and consequent cyclization that allows the functionalization of C(sp3)−H bonds to construct a variety of novel β ...

Intratumoral Hypoxia Triggers Mitochondrial BHLHE40 ROS Sensing Pathway to Promote Radioresistance in Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Hypoxia triggers a dual mechanism for BHLHE40 upregulation: reactive oxygen species (ROS)‐dependent post‐translational modification and hypoxia‐inducible factor (HIF)‐dependent transcriptional activation. Under hypoxic conditions, mitochondrial BHLHE40 accumulates and senses ROS via cysteine thiol oxidation and disulfide‐linked homodimer formation ...
