Well-posedness, stability and sensitivities for stochastic delay equations: A generalized coupling approach [PDF]

open access: yesThe Annals of Probability, 2020
We develop a new generalized coupling approach to the study of stochastic delay equations with Hölder continuous coefficients, for which analytical PDE-based methods are not available. We prove that such equations possess unique weak solutions, and establish weak ergodic rates for the corresponding segment processes.

Qualitative analysis and dynamical behavior of a Lassa haemorrhagic fever model with exposed rodents and saturated incidence rate

open access: yesScientific African, 2021
We have proposed an unprecedented deterministic model of Lassa Hemorrhagic fever (LHF) model with nonlinear force of LHF infection to capture the transmission dynamics and long-term effects of the disease.

Mathematical analysis and numerical simulation of co-infection of TB-HIV

open access: yesArab Journal of Basic and Applied Sciences, 2020
In this article, we consider the model having co-infection of TB and HIV for numerical analysis and modelling. For this purpose, used non-standard finite difference scheme with Mickens approach rather than h to control this disease.

Mathematical modeling and analysis for the co-infection of COVID-19 and tuberculosis

open access: yesHeliyon, 2022
We developed a TB-COVID-19 co-infection epidemic model using a non-linear dynamical system by subdividing the human population into seven compartments. The biological well-posedness of the formulated mathematical model was studied via proving properties ...

Mathematical Modeling and Analysis of TB and COVID-19 Coinfection

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2022
Tuberculosis (TB) and coronavirus (COVID-19) are both infectious diseases that globally continue affecting millions of people every year. They have similar symptoms such as cough, fever, and difficulty breathing but differ in incubation periods.

Study of an SIQR model with optimal control techniques: A mathematical approach

open access: yesResults in Control and Optimization, 2023
In this article, a SIQR deterministic model with a non-linear incidence function for an infectious disease is formulated and analyzed. The well-posedness of the model is ensured with the help of the non-negativity and boundedness of the solution of the ...

Perturbed Hybrid Pantograph Systems with Deformable Derivatives: Well-Posedness, Stability, Numerical Sensitivity, and a Delay-Feedback Toy Example

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
We study a perturbed coupled system of generalized hybrid pantograph equations involving the deformable derivative of Zulfeqarr–Ujlayan–Ahuja. A central point of the revision is made explicit: for classically differentiable functions this derivative is ...

Transcritical bifurcation in a new fractional influenza-type model with dual general incidences

open access: yesScientific African
We study a fractional influenza-type epidemic model with Caputo derivative of order ϑ∈(0,1], dual incidence kernels acting on susceptible and vaccinated individuals, vaccination with imperfect protection, waning immunity, isolation, and symptomatic ...
