Mixed Sensitivity Servo Control of Active Control Systems
The aircraft control system of the future will be a combination of fly-by-wire technology and Active Control System (ACS) which, based on the artificial feel system, provides a control strategy for both position and force. The ACS has uncertainties, such

Multiobjective control for multivariable systems with mixed-sensitivity specifications [PDF]
A series of multi objective H-infinity design problems are considered in this paper. The problems are formulated as a number of coupled H-infinity design problems. These H-infinity problems can be formulated as sensitivity problems, complementary sensitivity problems, or control sensitivity problems for every output (or input) in the system.

emgr—The Empirical Gramian Framework
System Gramian matrices are a well-known encoding for properties of input-output systems such as controllability, observability or minimality. These so-called system Gramians were developed in linear system theory for applications such as model order ...

Experimental sensitivity analysis and control of thermoacoustic systems [PDF]
In this paper, we report the results of an experimental sensitivity analysis on a thermoacoustic system – an electrically heated Rijke tube. We measure the change of the linear stability characteristics of the system, quantified as shifts in the growth rate and oscillation frequency, that is caused by the introduction of a passive control device.

Simple in-system control of microphone sensitivities in an array [PDF]
Abstract. A method to perform measurements of microphone responses directly in the array of a sensor system is described. It can be applied in reverberant environments and does not require high instrumentation effort. Due to the use of internal hardware of the sensor system, the whole signal chain of microphone–preamplifier–analogue-to-digital ...

Decentralized Control of Uncertain Systems Via Sensitivity Models [PDF]
In this paper, we present a decentralized strategy for optimal control of interconnected systems exhibiting parametric uncertainty. First, we demonstrate that sensitivity models for linear interconnected systems can be generated at each subsystem using only locally available information.

An Optimal Control Perspective on Weather and Climate Modification
Intentionally altering natural atmospheric processes using various techniques and technologies for changing weather patterns is one of the appropriate human responses to climate change and can be considered a rather drastic adaptation measure.

Eigen-Sensitivity-Based Sliding Mode Control for LFO Damping in DFIG-Integrated Power Systems
Low-frequency oscillation (LFO) of the synchronous generators in power systems by wind power is boring. To improve the robustness of the damping control scheme, this paper applies the sliding mode control (SMC) at the doubly fed induction generator (DFIG)
