Panoramic sensor calibration

Pattern Recognition Letters, 1998
This paper presents a new method of camera calibration for a panoramic stereovision sensor based on cylindrical projective geometry. The panoramic sensor allows us to get peripheral information about unknown environments, the architecture simplifies computation considerably. The device needs no calculation of epipolar lines.

CALIBRATED FORMATION WATER RESISTIVITY SENSOR

SPWLA 61st Annual Online Symposium Transactions, 2020
Abstract For every barrel of oil, about three to four barrels of water is produced. Water is part of every operation in upstream oil and gas: we produce it, we process it, we inject it. It affects our reserves because it may drive or sweep the oil out of the pores.

Sensor Calibration Experiment

2020
There are many sensors mounted in one multicopter. A multicopter can obtain its position and attitude using these sensors. However, these sensors, based on Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS), are inaccurate. This chapter will introduce the calibration principles and methods for some sensors in detail, with the hope that readers gradually master ...

Blind calibration of sensor networks

Proceedings of the 6th international conference on Information processing in sensor networks - IPSN '07, 2007
This paper considers the problem of blindly calibrating sensor response using routine sensor network measurements. We show that as long as the sensors slightly oversample the signals of interest, then unknown sensor gains can be perfectly recovered. Remarkably, neither a controlled stimulus nor a dense deployment is required.

Calibration of a Wearable Glucose Sensor

The International Journal of Artificial Organs, 1992
Calibration of glucose sensors proved difficult for electrodes with immobilized glucose-oxidase. The correlation between the sensitivity of the electrodes in vitro and in vivo appeared to be poor. We developed a new type of glucose sensor, based on a microdialysis system, in which an oxygen electrode is used as detector outside the body and the enzyme
