A novel nomogram and risk classification system for predicting lymph node metastasis of breast mucinous carcinoma: A SEER‐based study

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 11, Issue 24, Page 4767-4783, December 2022., 2022
1. In this study, we observed that mucinous breast cancer with metastatic lymph nodes have a worse prognosis and identified tumor size, grade and age as independent risk factors of lymph node metastasis. 2. we constructed a nomogram with factors of tumor size, grade, age and developed a risk classification system for predicting the risk of lymph node ...

An assessment of Sentinel-1 radar and Sentinel-2 multispectral data for remote archaeological investigation and preservation: Qubbet el-Hawa, Egypt [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2021
Remote sensing for archaeological investigations using surface response is reasonably well established, however, remote subsurface exploration is limited by depth and penetration and ground resolution. Furthermore, the conservation of archaeological sites requires constant monitoring capability, which is often not feasible between annual field seasons,

Crop Type and Land Cover Mapping in Northern Malawi Using the Integration of Sentinel-1, Sentinel-2, and PlanetScope Satellite Data

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2021
Mapping crop types and land cover in smallholder farming systems in sub-Saharan Africa remains a challenge due to data costs, high cloud cover, and poor temporal resolution of satellite data.

Chemically Enhanced Immunogenicity of Bacteria by Supramolecular Functionalization with an Adjuvant

open access: yesChemBioChem, Volume 23, Issue 23, December 5, 2022., 2022
Poorly immunogenic pathogens are a major cause of infectious disease. We chemically modified the surface of such a pathogen (Staphylococcus aureus) with a synthetic adjuvant to boost immunogenicity. “Adjuvanted” S. aureus induced improved immune responses in macrophages compared to unadulterated bacteria.

Coronary angiography of the ex‐situ beating donor heart in a portable organ care system

open access: yesCatheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions, Volume 100, Issue 7, Page 1252-1260, December 1, 2022., 2022
Abstract Objectives To determine safety and feasibility of ex‐situ coronary angiography. Background To cater for the perpetually growing demand for heart donors, interest in donation following circulatory death (DCD) has been rekindled. Further pursuit of donor pool expansion has led to eligibility extension to “marginal” donors who are at higher risk ...
