Breast Cancer Subtypes Can Be Determinant in The Decision Making Process to Avoid Surgical Axillary Staging: A retrospective cohort study [PDF]
Purpose: The need for performing axillary lymph-node dissection in early breast cancer when the sentinel lymph node (SLN) is positive has been questioned in recent years.

Emerging Techniques in Minimally Invasive Surgery in Hematologic Malignancies
ABSTRACT Hematologic malignancies represent the most common cancers in children. While the mainstays of treatment are chemotherapy and potentially hematopoietic stem cell transplant, minimally invasive surgery (MIS) has a role in the diagnosis and management of complications related both to disease and therapy as well as common pediatric surgical ...

Invasive breast carcinomas with papillary features (IBCP) comprise diverse subtypes with variable architecture, histopathology, and clinical behaviour. This review outlines evolving classification, diagnostic criteria, and treatment implications, highlighting challenges in distinguishing in situ from invasive lesions. Standardised diagnostic approaches

Development of sentinel node localization and ROLL in breast cancer in Europe [PDF]
The concept of a precise region in which to find the lymph nodes that drain the lymph directly from the primary tumor site can be traced back to a century ago to the observations of Jamieson and Dobson who described how cancer cells spread from cancer of

A deep learning–clinical nomogram hybrid for predicting sentinel lymph node metastasis in melanoma
We developed MISSLE, a deep learning–clinical nomogram hybrid model, to predict sentinel lymph node metastasis in invasive cutaneous melanoma with a high area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of 0.950 on the test set. MISSLE identifies key histopathological features and integrates AI for improved clinical decision‐making.

Investigating the role of SPECT/CT in dynamic sentinel lymph node biopsy for penile cancers [PDF]
PURPOSE: Currently, most centres use 2-D planar lymphoscintigraphy when performing dynamic sentinel lymph node biopsy in penile cancer patients with clinically impalpable inguinal nodes.
