Management strategies for preventing and recovering from zoysiagrass winterkill

open access: yesCrop, Forage &Turfgrass Management, Volume 11, Issue 2, December 2025.
Abstract Zoysiagrass (Zoysia spp. Willd.) is a warm‐season grass used from tropical to temperate climates, and it generally requires fewer inputs than most other cool‐ and warm‐season turfgrasses. The development of new zoysiagrass cultivars has increased its use in the United States, but its adaptation and specific uses are species and cultivar ...

Twenty‐year survival outcomes after multipeptide vaccination for resected high‐risk melanoma: A post‐hoc analysis of a randomized clinical trial

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, Volume 157, Issue 9, Page 1912-1923, 1 November 2025.
What's new? While melanoma vaccines have shown therapeutic promise, predicting their clinical benefits is challenged by factors such as delayed response to immunotherapy and scarcity of biomarkers. Here, the authors examined the long‐term efficacy of vaccination with either 4 or 12 class I MHC‐restricted peptides in high‐risk melanoma.

The Role of Multiparametric MRI Radiomics for Preoperative Prediction of Axillary Lymph Node Metastasis in Patients With Invasive Breast Cancer: A Comparative Study

open access: yesCancer Innovation, Volume 4, Issue 5, October 2025.
This study compared the preoperative noninvasive prediction of axillary lymph node metastasis in patients with invasive breast cancer using radiomics derived from single and multi‐sequence MRI. The combined radiomics model outperformed the single‐sequence models, with the DCE model performing better among the single‐sequence models.

Safety and efficacy of docosahexaenoic acid supplementation during neoadjuvant breast cancer therapy: Findings from the phase II, double‐blind, randomized controlled DHA‐WIN trial

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, Volume 157, Issue 7, Page 1405-1419, 1 October 2025.
What's New? Omega‐3 docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) has shown pleiotropic anti‐cancer effects both in vitro and in animal models. However, clinical evidence of DHA efficacy is limited. This randomized, double‐blind, placebo‐controlled trial tested the efficacy of supplementation with DHA 4.4 g/day during 18 weeks of breast cancer neoadjuvant chemotherapy ...
