Embedded Model Control: design separation under uncertainty
The key signal of the Embedded Model Control (EMC) is the model error, measured minus model output, which is used by Internal Model Control and in a more efficient way by Active Disturbance Rejection Control (ADRC).

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

An experimental study on gas and liquid separation at Y-junction tubes by pressure control
An experimental investigation on gas and liquid separation at Y-junction tubes was conducted to explore whether it is viable to keep Y-junctions in good operational condition by pressure control.

Influence of solid phase thermal conductivity on species separation rate in packed thermogravitational columns: A direct numerical simulation model [PDF]
n this work, a direct numerical simulation model has been proposed to study the influence of porous matrix thermal properties on the separation rate in a model of packed thermogravitational column saturated by a binary mixture. The coupled flow, heat and

Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...

The human gut microbiome across the life course
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

Supported ceria-modified silver catalysts with high activity and stability for toluene removal
Herein we fabricated the supported single-atom silver catalysts using an in situ molten salt method. The Mn2O3 nanowires supported single-atom silver catalyst (i.e., 0.06 wt% Ag/Mn2O3) exhibited excellent catalytic activity for toluene combustion, with ...
