Separatrix Configurations in Holomorphic Flows
Abstract We investigate properties of boundary orbits (separatrices) of canonical regions (basins/neighbourhoods of equilibria) in holomorphic flows with real-valued time. We establish the continuity of transit times along these boundary orbits and classify possible path components of the boundary of flow ...

Scalable Computation of Topological Abstractions for Scalar Data
Abstract Topological data analysis has become an important tool for large scale scalar data analysis and visualization, efficiently extracting the inherent structure and features of interest of the data. However, with growing dataset sizes and complexity, it is increasingly becoming infeasible to compute topological abstractions of interest in serial ...

Evaluating relationships between host body condition indices (BCIs) and parasite infections is a common approach for assessing the negative effects of parasites on host health. Researchers generally expect negative correlations between BCIs and infection levels; however, empirical results are often highly variable among host–parasite systems.

Crystallization of dmisteinbergite (hexagonal CaAl2Si2O8) from type B CAI analog melt
Abstract Dmisteinbergite is a metastable polymorph of CaAl2Si2O8, which has been found in calcium−aluminum‐rich inclusions (CAIs) in chondrites, although anorthite is the predominant CaAl2Si2O8 phase in natural type B CAIs. The occurrence/absence of igneous dmisteinbergite would put tighter constraints on the thermal history of CAIs.

Racial Inequality, Growth and Distribution
ABSTRACT A post‐Keynesian‐Kaleckian model along structuralist lines is developed to incorporate the issue of racial inequality into the analysis of growth and distribution. It draws on ideas presented in the literature about the relationship between class inequality between capitalists and workers, and racial inequality between White and Black workers,

BOUT++ turbulence simulations of the DIII-D reveal that the density profile between the separatrix and pedestal plays a crucial role in the dynamics of edge localized modes (ELMs) and edge plasma turbulent transport.
