Energetic Particles from Quasi-separatrix Layers and Current Sheets at the Sun
Quasi-separatrix layers (QSLs) at the Sun are created in regions where channels of open magnetic flux have footpoints near regions of large-scale closed magnetic flux. These regions show rapid changes in curvature and field strength.

Separatrix formalism for superconducting linear accelerators
Superconducting cavities provide high accelerating gradient in linear accelerators. However, it is desirable to have a constant geometry of the accelerating cells in order to simplify manufacturing. Such geometry leads to a nonsynchronism.

Origin of Long‐Wavelength Variations in Crustal Thickness on Rocky Planets
Abstract Long‐wavelength crustal thickness variations are observed on telluric planets, particularly on Mars and the Moon whereas Mercury appears to lack such variations. They may stem from two early‐stage positive feedback mechanisms that can emerge in stagnant‐lid planets.

AbstractA germ of a singular foliation in $\mathbb {C}^2$ is built, with its analytical class of separatrix and holonomy representations prescribed. Thanks to this construction, we study the link between the moduli space of a foliation and the moduli space of its separatrix.

High Melt Fraction Induced by the Dehydration Melting Near the 410‐km Discontinuity
Abstract The water‐rich mantle transition zone, coupled with the low water storage capacity of the upper mantle, suggests that dehydration melting occurs just above the mantle transition zone near the 410‐km discontinuity. However, the melt fraction produced by the dehydration melting process remains poorly constrained.
