Unprecedented 4/7 Bicyclic Carbon Skeleton Sesquiterpenoids With Anti‐Inflammatory Activities Isolated From the Root of Lindera glauca

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 9, September 2026.
Glasesquiterpenoid A (1) with an unprecedented 4/7 bicyclic carbon skeleton was the first example reported in the class of sesquiterpenoids. ABSTRACT Six new sesquiterpenoids glasesquiterpenoids A−F (1−6), together with two known ones, 7 and 8, were coisolated from the root of Lindera glauca.

Chemical Constituents of the Culture Broth of Panus rudis

open access: yesMycobiology, 2021
In our ongoing search for new secondary metabolites from fungal strains, one novel compound (1) and nine known compounds (2-10) were isolated from the EtOAc-soluble layer of the culture broth of Panus rudis. The culture broth of P. rudis was extracted in

Occurrence of Sesquiterpene Derivatives in De Wild (Cyperaceae)

open access: yesNatural Product Communications, 2009
Scleria striatonux (Cyperaceae), a spice traditionally used in Cameroon, displayed an antiplasmodial activity. Two new sesquiterpenes, 1 (sclerienone A) and 2 (sclerienone B), have subsequently been isolated from the methylene chloride/methanol extract ...

Anti‑Inflammatory Sesquiterpenoids From Two Asteraceae Plants Native to Kazakhstan: Isolation, Structural Elucidation, and Mechanistic Insights

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 9, September 2026.
This study identifies potent anti‐inflammatory sesquiterpenoids from two Asteraceae plants native to Kazakhstan. Among 10 isolated compounds, both 4 and 8 inhibit key inflammatory markers, but only 8 acts by suppressing the MAPK pathway, indicating a structure‐dependent mechanistic divergence.

Exploring the Multitarget Pharmacological Potential of Halogeton sativus Secondary Metabolites: An Integrated Experimental and Computational Approach

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 9, September 2026.
Halogeton sativus is investigated through phytochemical isolation, biological evaluation, molecular dicking, molecular dynamics simulation, and ADMET prediction. The identified metabolites exhibit promising antioxidant, anti‐inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antidiabetic activities, while computational analyses provide mechanistic insights and favorable

The Construction of On-line Sephadex LH-20 Liquid Chromatography × Reversed Phase Liquid Chromatography System and the Study on the Chemical Constituents of Flos Carthami [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017

Syntheses and LH- and FSH-RH activities of LH-RH analogs substituted at position 8

open access: yes, 1972
Syntheses by the conventional method are described of [Gln 8]-LH-RH, [Leu 8]-LH-RH and [Pro 8] [Arg 9]-LH-RH. These peptides were purified by column chromatography on CM-Sephadex and gelfiltration on Sephadex G-25 and proved to be homogeneous.

The Chemical Constituents From Borojo and Their Anti‐Inflammatory Activity

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 9, September 2026.
Three new cyclopentenes and one new fused‑ring compound were isolated from borojo. BLH‑1, BLH‑5, and BLH‑9 inhibited TNF‑α and IL‐6 release, while BLH‑1, BLH‑2, BLH‑4, BLH‑6, and BLH‑7 reduced neutrophil migration in zebrafish models. BLH‑1 was found to suppress NF‑κB and STAT3 pathways, suggesting borojo is a promising source of anti‑inflammatory ...
