Effects of Septa Dimensions on Some Characteristics of Double L-Septa Waveguides
AbstractA rectangular waveguide with a double L‐shaped septa has recently been proposed as a broadband transmission medium. The effects of the septa dimensions on its characteristics are investigated in this article. Numerical data that would be useful for application of the DLSG have been presented. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.

New Broadband Rectangular Waveguide With L-Shaped Septa
Broadband septum waveguides that are a variant of the previously reported double T-septa guide (DTSGs) are proposed. These guides have L-shaped septa located antisymmetrically and are called double L-septa guides (DLSG).

The phragmocone with its more or less complexly folded septa characterize the ammonoid clade and contribute much to the aesthetic appearance of these fossils. However many contradicting opinions and models on septum formation and as explanation for the evolution and function of sutural complexity and septal frilling have been published.

Anatomic Evaluation of Maxillary Sinus Septa: Surgery and Radiology
The anatomical structure of the maxillary sinus is fundamental to maxillofacial surgery. The presence of septa, located at the inner surface of the maxillary sinus, increases the risk of sinus membrane perforation during sinus elevation for dental ...

A Study on Intersegmental Septa
Diseases of the Chest, 1959SUMMARY With anatomical, experimental studies the authors found that the intersegmental septa are not plane, as they have been described, but uneven and bumpy like basalt rocks. The irregular surfaces of the pentagon-shaped lobuli of the neighbouring segments were found to protrude and fit into each other as a cast fits to the pattern. Utilizing these

Septa of bertin: A sonographic pseudotumor
Journal of Clinical Ultrasound, 1983AbstractThe sonographic features of six renal “pseudotumors” representing septa of Bertin are described. Septa of Bertin are isoechoic with renal parenchyma and demonstrate a characteristic splaying of the central sinus echoes. CT performed in all six cases revealed the “mass” to be normally enhancing renal cortex.
