Bridging the gap: Multi‐stakeholder perspectives of molecular diagnostics in oncology

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Although molecular diagnostics is transforming cancer care, implementing novel technologies remains challenging. This study identifies unmet needs and technology requirements through a two‐step stakeholder involvement. Liquid biopsies for monitoring applications and predictive biomarker testing emerge as key unmet needs. Technology requirements vary by

Genetic variability of grapevine Pinot gris virus (GPGV) in an organically cultivated vineyard in Hungary

open access: yesPhytopathologia Mediterranea
Grapevine Pinot gris virus (GPGV) is a recently identified trichovirus infecting grapevines. Despite wide distribution, there is limited available information on epidemiology, transmission, and associated symptoms of grapevine leaf mottling and ...

Optimal CDMA signatures: a finite-step approach [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
A description of optimal sequences for direct-sequence code division multiple access is a byproduct of recent characterizations of the sum capacity. The paper restates the sequence design problem as an inverse singular value problem and shows that it can

Adenosine‐to‐inosine editing of miR‐200b‐3p is associated with the progression of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A‐to‐I editing of miRNAs, particularly miR‐200b‐3p, contributes to HGSOC progression by enhancing cancer cell proliferation, migration and 3D growth. The edited form is linked to poorer patient survival and the identification of novel molecular targets.

Investigating the cell of origin and novel molecular targets in Merkel cell carcinoma: a historic misnomer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study indicates that Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) does not originate from Merkel cells, and identifies gene, protein & cellular expression of immune‐linked and neuroendocrine markers in primary and metastatic Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) tumor samples, linked to Merkel cell polyomavirus (MCPyV) status, with enrichment of B‐cell and other immune cell

Antibody repertoire sequencing analysis: Antibody repertoire sequencing analysis

open access: yes, 2022
High-throughput sequencing for B cell receptor (BCR) repertoire provides useful insights for the adaptive immune system. With the continuous development of the BCR-seq technology, many efforts have been made to develop methods for analyzing the ever-increasing BCR repertoire data.

YAP1::TFE3 mediates endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal plasticity in epithelioid hemangioendothelioma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The YAP1::TFE3 fusion protein drives endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EndMT) plasticity, resulting in the loss of endothelial characteristics and gain of mesenchymal‐like properties, including resistance to anoikis, increased migratory capacity, and loss of contact growth inhibition in endothelial cells.
