Efficacy of In-Service Education and Training (INSET) Courses in Improving EFL Teachers’ Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK)

open access: yesJournal of Modern Research in English Language Studies, 2021
Teachers’ knowledge base refers to what teachers should know and be able to implement in their classes. This study investigated to what extent in-service education and training (INSET) courses were influential in developing teachers’ knowledge base. From

Training program for Research Educators of sequential course-based undergraduate research experiences

open access: yesFEMS Microbiology Letters, 2019
ABSTRACT Science education studies have shown that a sequence of course-based research experiences has many positive effects for undergraduates. To maximize those benefits, we created a training program for the instructors (aka Research Educators).

Sequential evaluation of general immune competence in cancer patients: Correlation with clinical course [PDF]

open access: yesCancer, 1975
An evaluation of general immunologic reactivity was performed in 116 patients with malignant melanoma and in 40 patients with skeletal and soft tissue sarcoma who received adjunctive immunotherapy. An excellent correlation was observed between delayed cutaneous hypersensitivity to DNCB and the clinical extent of malignancy.

Sequential Monte Carlo samplers for semilinear inverse problems and application to magnetoencephalography [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We discuss the use of a recent class of sequential Monte Carlo methods for solving inverse problems characterized by a semi-linear structure, i.e. where the data depend linearly on a subset of variables and nonlinearly on the remaining ones. In this type

Methods and tools for teaching parallel and distributed computing in universities: a systematic review of the literature [PDF]

open access: yesSHS Web of Conferences, 2020
As computer hardware becomes more and more parallel, there is a need for software engineers who are experienced in developing parallel programs, not only by “parallelizing” sequential designs.

Sequential Integer Programming for Solving Curriculum-Based University Course Timetabling Problem

open access: yesInternational Journal of Recent Technology and Engineering, 2019
This research propose two stages sequential integer programming (IP) approach for solving curriculum-based university course timetabling problems (CB-UTT) in University Malaysia Sabah, Labuan international campus (UMSLIC). Like other timetabling problems, CB-UTT in UMSLIC has its own rules and features.
