Sequential innovation and contribution distribution: measurement from game live-streaming industry [PDF]
Profit distribution in sequential innovation is a crucial yet relatively unexplored area of empirical research. With novel cross-section data from the game live-streaming industry, we are the first to assess the contribution shared by initial and follow ...

Sequential equlibria in signaling games
The paper considers Bayesian multi-stage signaling games. Previously formulated for extensive-form games, concepts of sequential equilibrium, separating equilibrium and pooling equilibrium are specified, and calculating methods for these equilibria are also discussed.

Non-Determinism and Nash Equilibria for Sequential Game over Partial Order [PDF]
In sequential games of traditional game theory, backward induction guarantees existence of Nash equilibrium by yielding a sub-game perfect equilibrium.

Sequential Majoritarian Blotto Games [PDF]
We study Colonel Blotto games with sequential battles and a majoritarian objective. For a large class of contest success functions, the equilibrium is unique and characterized by an even split: Each battle that is reached before one of the players wins a majority of battles is allocated the same amount of resources from the player’s overall budget.

AbstractWe consider the estate division or bankruptcy problem and assume that players sequentially put claims on the estate. Each part of the estate is then divided proportionally with respect to the number of claims on it. We focus on myopic play: players first claim the hitherto least claimed parts, and on subgame perfect equilibria.

Economic Harmony—A Rational Theory of Fairness and Cooperation in Strategic Interactions
Experimental studies show that the Nash equilibrium and its refinements are poor predictors of behavior in non-cooperative strategic games. Cooperation models, such as ERC and inequality aversion, yield superior predictions compared to the standard game ...

Dependent Types for Extensive Games
Extensive games are tools largely used in economics to describe decision processes of a community of agents. In this paper we propose a formal presentation based on the proof assistant COQ which focuses mostly on infinite extensive games and their ...
