Diffusion tensor imaging of sequential neuropathological patterns in progressive supranuclear palsy

open access: yesFrontiers in Aging Neuroscience
Background and objectiveA neuropathological cerebral staging concept for progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) has been proposed that tau inclusions in PSP may progress in a sequential regional pattern.

CloSpan Sequential Pattern Mining for Books Recommendation System in Petra Christian University Library [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Petra Christian University (PCU) Library has been using website for their books search system. To further improve the service, it is necessary to develop the automatic system which can recommends the book or the correlation or the book which often ...

Sequential Pattern Mining and Nonmonotonic Reasoning for Intelligent Information Agents

open access: yes, 2007
With the explosive growth of information available on the Internet, more effective data mining and data reasoning mechanism is required to process the sheer volume of information. Belief revision logic offers the expressive power to represent information

Serological Benefit of SARS‐CoV‐2 Vaccination Relative to Infection in Children With Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) are at risk of severe outcomes from SARS‐CoV‐2 (SCV2). In the post‐pandemic context, where most children have been infected with SCV2, there are limited data on whether vaccination remains beneficial in children with ALL.

Claudin‐6 Protein Expression in Atypical Teratoid/Rhabdoid Tumors Is Strongly Enriched in the Molecular Subgroup AT/RT‐TYR

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Claudin‐6 has emerged as a promising immunotherapeutic target, yet protein‐level data in atypical teratoid/rhabdoid tumors (AT/RTs) have been inconsistent. We analyzed 36 well‐characterized AT/RT samples and found membranous claudin‐6 protein expression in 58% of cases, with striking enrichment in the molecular subgroup AT/RT‐TYR (100%) and ...

On efficiently mining high utility sequential patterns

open access: yes, 2016
High utility sequential pattern mining is an emerging topic in pattern mining, which refers to identify sequences with high utilities (e.g., profits) but probably with low frequencies. To identify high utility sequential patterns, due to lack of downward

Time Toxicity in Wilms Tumor: Quantifying the Burden of Healthcare Interaction in the First Year After Diagnosis

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Wilms tumor (WT) treatment imposes a significant time burden on patients and their families. Time toxicity is a patient‐centered metric that quantifies the burden of healthcare interaction. We sought to define time toxicity in the first year after diagnosis of WT and hypothesized that it would increase as tumor stage and treatment ...

Uncertainty in Sequential Pattern Mining [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We study uncertainty models in sequential pattern mining. We discuss some kinds of uncertainties that could exist in data, and show how these uncertainties can be modelled using probabilistic databases. We then obtain possible world semantics for them and show how frequent sequences could be mined using the probabilistic frequentness measure.

Emapalumab for Immune Effector Cell‐Associated Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis‐Like Syndrome Following CD19‐Directed CAR‐T in Two Patients With B‐ALL: Clinical and Biomarker Correlates

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Immune effector cell‐associated hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis‐like syndrome (IEC‐HS) is a life‐threatening hyperinflammatory toxicity distinct from cytokine release syndrome (CRS) and neurotoxicity following chimeric antigen receptor T‐cell (CAR‐T) therapy. In a single‐institution retrospective cohort of pediatric and young adult patients

The Role of Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation in Ataxia‐Telangiectasia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Ataxia‐telangiectasia (A‐T) is a DNA repair disorder characterized by neurodegeneration, immunodeficiency, and cancer predisposition. Hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) is an established therapy in related disorders such as Fanconi anemia (FA) and Nijmegen breakage syndrome (NBS), but its role in A‐T is unclear.
