On The Timescale Forcing in Astrobiology [PDF]
We investigate the effects of correlated global regulation mechanisms, especially Galactic gamma-ray bursts (GRBs), on the temporal distribution of hypothetical inhabited planets, using simple Monte Carlo numerical experiments. Starting with recently obtained models of planetary ages in the Galactic Habitable Zone (GHZ), we obtain that the times ...

Modeling quasar variability through self-organizing map-based process [PDF]
Conditional Neural Process (QNPy) has shown to be a good tool for modeling quasar light curves. However, given the complex nature of the source and hence the data represented by light curves, processing could be time-consuming. In some cases, accuracy is not good enough for further analysis.

Radio Continuum Study of Supernova Remnants in the Large Magellanic Cloud - SNR J0519-6926 [PDF]
We present the results of new high resolution ATCA observations of SNR J0519-6926. We found that this SNR exhibits a typical "horseshoe" appearance with alpha = -0.55 +- 0.08 and D=28+-1 pc. No polarization (or magnetic fields) are detected to a level of 1%. This is probably due to a relatively poor sampling of the uv plane caused be observing in "snap-

Data-Driven Learning The Serbian Case
Data-Driven Learning (DDL) is almost non-existent at the university level in Serbia when it comes to using DDL in foreign language teaching. Having analysed the curricula at a number of universities, we concluded that DDL is dealt with on a very small scale.

There are three urgent tasks before the Serbian lexicographers: the vertical and horizontal defining of the contemporary Serbian language, the formation of the Serbian language corpus and the compilation of the standard descriptive dictionary: the first two tasks should be done by the Serbian linguists and by those dealing with corpora ...
