KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer

A $t$-Test for the Serial Correlation Coefficient
The Annals of Mathematical Statistics, 1957 Let $r$ be the sample serial correlation coefficient computed from a sample of size $N$ drawn from a serially correlated process with parameter $\rho$. It is shown that the statistic $$t = \frac{(r - \rho) \sqrt{N + 1}}{\sqrt{1 - r^2}}$$ is approximately distributed as Student's $t$ with $N + 1$ degrees of freedom.

Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. The presence of positive serial correlation (autocorrelation) in remotely sensed data results in an underestimate of the variance-covariance matrix when calculated using contiguous pixels. This underestimate produces an inflation in F statistics.
