Japanese Journal of Medical Mycology, 1985 わが国において, クリプトコックス症の血清学的診断法を普及する目的で, 抗原検出法として抗体感作ラテックス凝集反応 (LAテスト) を,抗体検出法として加熱菌体を用いたスライド凝集反応 (CSAテスト) を検討した. 当教室に検査依頼のあった34例のうち25例は医師により診断がつけられていたもので, そのうち13例はクリプトコックス髄膜炎, 9例は肺クリプトコックス症, 3例は皮膚クリプトコックス症であった. 9例は診断が未確定であった. LAテストに用いた感作ラテックス粒子の Cryptococcus neoformans A型株の多糖類抗原に対する最小抗原検出濃度は 2.4～9.8ng/mlであった.
