Seroprevalence of Human Toxocariasis in Denmark
ABSTRACT The seroprevalence of Toxocara in the Danish population was assessed from 3,247 sera from individuals originally screened for toxoplasmosis. Of 87 enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay-positive sera, 79 were confirmed by Western blotting, yielding a crude seroprevalence of 2.4%.
