[Diagnostic keys in conventional serous fluid cytopathology].
Annales de pathologie, 2007Cells from serous effusions can easily be concentrated by centrifugation. Thereafter, various procedures allow cells to be deposited on glass slides. Standard stains give excellent morphologic details for analysis. However, unsatisfactory specimens are frequently observed in daily practice.

In this study, we highlight the impact of SFV and other parameters influencing the outcome of NGS analysis.We evaluated 827 samples of serous fluids from 607 patients.
