Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety, 2004 Mercury (Hg) concentration in fish depends on feeding strategies and age/size within the species as well as on water parameters related to acidity and Hg speciation. Environmental DNA, Volume 8, Issue 2, March/April 2026.Comparing eDNA metabarcoding and gillnet surveys in a Neotropical reservoir, this study finds that eDNA detects greater species richness yet reveals distinct assemblage structures.
