Halogen Bonding in Halopyridine‐Copper(II) Complexes: A Comprehensive Solid‐State and Interaction Study with Human Serum Albumin

open access: yesChemistryEurope, Volume 4, Issue 1, January 2026.
Halopyridine‐Cu(II) complexes with systematically varied halogen substitutions on halopyridines reveal how halogen atom type, size, and substitution position govern coordination structures and noncovalent interactions. Distinct motifs differentiate crystalline from non‐crystalline forms.

Ontogeny of bradykinin B2 receptors in the rat kidney: Implications for segmental nephron maturation [PDF]

open access: yes, 1941
Ontogeny of bradykinin B2 receptors in the rat kidney: Implications for segmental nephron maturation. Kinins modulate renal function, yet their role in the developing kidney is largely unknown.

Recent Progress in the Development of Metal‐Based Radiosensitizations for Cancer Therapy: A Review

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Radiotherapy (RT) remains an indispensable means in cancer treatment; however, its therapeutic efficacy is often limited by tumor radioresistance and side effect of damage to healthy tissue. The advances in nanotechnology have propelled metal radiosensitizers to forefront of precision medicine.

Improved immunoradiometric assay for plasma renin [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
BACKGROUND: Our renin IRMA overestimated renin in plasmas with high prorenin-to-renin ratios. We suspected that the overestimation of renin was caused less by cross-reactivity of the renin-specific antibody with prorenin ...

The effects of x-irradiation on the distribution of radio-iodinated human serum albumin in the golden hamster (Mesocricetus auratus) [PDF]

open access: yes, 1960
Thesis (Ph.D.)--Boston UniversityThe fact that ionizing radiation acts as a non-specific vascular damaging agent which increases the fragility and "permeability" of blood vessels has been well established in the literature.
