Comparison of Triply Periodic Minimal Surface Energy Absorbers Under Uniaxial Compressive Loading
This study investigates LCD 3D printed Triply Periodic Minimal Surface (TPMS) structures as mechanical energy absorbers. By comparing various base designs and layered combinations under uniaxial compression, it identifies that a Diamond‐Gyroid sandwich structure offers superior performance.

Composite service metamodel and auto composition
Journal of Computational Methods in Sciences and Engineering, 2010Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is a computing paradigm which promises to provide transparency to resource access by exposing the available resources as services. SOA is based on service composition for application development or service development. Numerous researches focus on service composition.

Composition of service specifications
Proceedings Sixth International Conference on Network Protocols (Cat. No.98TB100256), 2002The service specification ss(P) of a protocol P defines the services provided by the protocol and its protocol specification ps(P) specifies the rules of message exchange to ensure the service. Protocol composition has been advocated as an attractive way to design complex protocols.

Distributed Service Composition in Internet of Services
2021 IEEE International Conference on Services Computing (SCC), 2021To meet coarse-grained user requirements, many service composition approaches have been put forward in the past 20 years. The service composition constructs a service workflow by aggregating services to meet users’ functional and non-functional requirements.

Cooperative Service Composition
2012Traditional service composition approaches are top-down(using domain knowledge to break-down the desired functionality), or bottom-up (using planning techniques). The former rely on available problem decomposition knowledge, whilst the latter rely on the availability of a known set of services, otherwise automatic composition has been considered ...

We have developed a tool to allow users who are not programmers to assemble non-trivial service compositions. The tool uses templates and background reasoning to reduce the mental effort needed by users when they compose services, and provides immediate feedback about the consequences of any decisions made by its users.

Currently, composition of web services is done by orchestration. An orchestration is a workflow that combines invocations of individual operations of the web services involved. It is therefore a composition of individual operations, rather than a composition of entire web services.

Relational Service Composition
2009 IEEE International Conference on Semantic Computing, 2009Although the service composition problem has been widely addressed, automatically composing a service from existing services is still very difficult. This paper focuses on the composition problem for relational web services. It considers answering complex queries using a set of available relational services collectively.

A geographical information system (GIS) is a system that captures, analyzes, and manages any spatially referenced data. One common problem in the GIS community is how to generate and publish customized Web maps. The existing solutions either deal with spatial data directly which does not allow for applying the customized features, or require and rely ...

Composition of component services
Seventh IEEE International Symposium onObject-Oriented Real-Time Distributed Computing, 2004. Proceedings., 2004We consider a component to be an encapsulated hardware-software unit that can be used as a building block in the construction of a larger system and that delivers a specified service across a component interface. The problem of composition of a set of components can be broken down into the following two subproblems, the composition of the component ...
