A servo-mechanical bladder dynamic simulator
Physiological Measurement, 2001A method is described for the physical simulation of the dynamic behaviour of the urinary bladder. It has been found that the model can be controlled to an arbitrary pressure-volume characteristic essentially independent of the properties of the bladder material.

Adaptive friction compensation of servo mechanisms
International Journal of Systems Science, 2001In this paper, adaptive friction compensation is investigated using both model-based and neural network (non-model-based) parametrization techniques. After a comprehensive list of commonly used models for friction is presented, model-based and non-modelbased adaptive friction controllers are developed with guaranteed closed-loop stability.

Analysis of a Sampling Servo Mechanism
Journal of Applied Physics, 1950An analysis of a sampling servo mechanism with an error-clamping device and linear forward and return paths is given. The method leads to a determination of the continuous output of the system in terms of quadratures and gives explicitly the value of the output at the discrete sampling instants.

Positional servo-mechanism activated by artificial muscles
Medical & Biological Engineering, 1969A positional servo-mechanism was designed to facilitate multi-layer electronic control of complex orthotic and prosthetic devices. The design aim was to obtain adequate performance of the system using lightweight, flexible and inexpensive components. The mechanism is actuated by an antagonistic pair of McKibben pneumatic muscles.

Dynamics of dual-drive servo mechanism
ISIE 2001. 2001 IEEE International Symposium on Industrial Electronics Proceedings (Cat. No.01TH8570), 2002Gantry mechanisms are widely used for precision manufacturing and material handling in electronics, nuclear, and automotive industries. A dual drive servo mechanism is a way to increase control bandwidth, in which two primary axes aligned in parallel are synchronously driven by identical servo motors.

Dynamic Model of Servo Mechanical Press
2020Servo mechanical press is a mechatronic system, consisting of a reducer, actuator and a servomotor with a controller. Control of the servo mechanical press is carried out with a help of the controller depending of technological process of pressing. Reverse kinematic analysis of the actuator of the servo mechanical press is presented in the work to ...

Phase Lead for A.C. Servo Mechanisms
Journal of Applied Physics, 1949General design curves for use of lead networks on log-db plots are given. A variety of parallel and bridge T networks along with d.c. networks are evaluated for use in a.c. servo mechanisms. The restrictions existing on some networks are enumerated, and suggestions on general design procedure are made.

Adaptive repetitive learning control of servo mechanisms
Fifth World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation (IEEE Cat. No.04EX788), 2004In this paper, adaptive repetitive learning control is presented for trajectory tracking of servo mechanisms over the entire operation interval. Through the introduction of a novel Lyapunov-like function, the proposed adaptive learning control only requires the system to start from where it stopped at the last cycle, and avoids the strict requirement ...

The servo-mechanical subsystem
1998The CD-ROM servo electronics is basically associated with two control loops which keep the laser spot in focus on the impressed disc surface and, while playing back the recorded information, keep the laser spot following the disc spiral. In addition, the servo circuitry must also be able to find a particular location on the disc.
