Design of Interval Set-Membership Based Fault Detection Filter

2021
where, \(x_k \in \mathbb {R}^n\) is the state vector of the system, \(u_k \in \mathbb {R}^p\) and \(y_k \in \mathbb {R}^q\) are the input and output vector of the system, respectively, \(w_k \in \mathbb {R}^s\) and \(v_k\in \mathbb {R}^l\) are unknown but bounded disturbance and noise, respectively, \(f_k \in \mathbb {R}^m\) is actuator fault of any ...

Indoor localization with incomplete observation using set-membership filter

2015 International Symposium on Micro-NanoMechatronics and Human Science (MHS), 2015
Indoor localization is a popular topic because of the poor performance of GPS in the indoor environment. This paper has provided a new method to achieve the goal of indoor localization. Combining the usage of posture sensors with the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, we solved the problem of plentiful tags in the traditional RFID indoor

Extended set-membership filter for indoor gas source localization

2016 35th Chinese Control Conference (CCC), 2016
A novel estimation method is presented in the frame of extended set-membership filter(ESMF) for indoor gas source localization on sensor array. The noise sources of sensors are assumed unknown but bounded. Gas plume model is used to calculate localization error bound by ESMF iteratively.

Efficient set-membership filtering algorithms for wireless sensor networks

2016 IEEE International Conference on Wireless for Space and Extreme Environments (WiSEE), 2016
The paper discusses three main adaptive filtering algorithms with partial updates and low computational complexities that converge fast and have a significantly better mean square error (MSE) performance than their non selective-update versions when they are tuned well.

Set-membership identification and filtering for signal processing applications

Circuits, Systems and Signal Processing, 2002
Optimal bounding ellipsoid (OBE) algorithms comprise a class of novel recursive identification methods for affine-in-parameters system and signal models. OBE algorithms exploit a priori knowledge of bounds on model disturbances to derive a monotonically nonincreasing set of solutions that are feasible in light of the observations and the model ...

Set-membership filtering for polytopic uncertain discrete-time systems

International Journal of General Systems, 2011
In this paper, a set-membership filtering problem is considered for systems with polytopic uncertainty. A recursive algorithm for calculating an ellipsoid which always contains the state is developed. In the prediction step, a predicted state ellipsoid is determined; in the update step, a state estimation ellipsoid is computed by combining the ...
