Satisfiability-based Set Membership Filters
Introduced here is a novel application of Satisfiability (SAT) to the set membership problem with specific focus on efficiently testing whether large sets contain a given element. Such tests can be greatly enhanced via the use of filters, probabilistic algorithms that can quickly decide whether or not a given element is in a given set.

AMICO: optimised detection of galaxy clusters in photometric surveys [PDF]
We present AMICO (Adaptive Matched Identifier of Clustered Objects), a new algorithm for the detection of galaxy clusters in photometric surveys. AMICO is based on the Optimal Filtering technique, which allows to maximise the signal-to-noise ratio of the

Centralized Fusion Methods for Multi-Sensor System With Bounded Disturbances
The set-membership information fusion problem is studied for general multi-sensor dynamic systems. Based on set-membership theory, three centralized state fusion estimation algorithms in the presence of bounded disturbances are proposed, namely augmented

Fuzzy rule based multiwavelet ECG signal denoising [PDF]
Since different multiwavelets, pre- and post-filters have different impulse responses and frequency responses, different multiwavelets, pre- and post-filters should be selected and applied at different noise levels for signal denoising if signals are ...
