Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Some remarks on linear set-valued differential equations

open access: yes, 2020
The article discusses various definitions of the derivative of a set-valued mapping and their properties. Also, a linear set-valued differential equation is considered and the existence of solutions for this equation with Hukuhara derivative, Plotnikov ...

Mixed vector equilibrium problem involving multi-valued mapping [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
In this paper, we consider and study a mixed vector equilibrium problem involving multi-valued mapping in a Hausdorff topological vector space. We prove some existence results for mixed vector equilibrium problem involving multi-valued mapping using KKM ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

On the stability of finding approximate fixed points by simplicial methods

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2016
This paper reports some new results in relation to simplicial algorithms considering continuities of approximate fixed point sets. The upper semi-continuity of a set-valued mapping of approximate fixed points using vector-valued simplicial methods is ...

Generalized vector quasi-equilibrium problems with set-valued mappings

open access: yes, 2008
This paper is devoted to study a new class of generalized vector quasi-equilibrium problems with set-valued mappings. By means of the Fan–KKM Theorem and lower semicontinuity with respect to cone order of the set-valued mapping, we obtain an existence ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.
