We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Expansions of set-valued mappings on k-semistratifiable spaces
In this paper, we give some characterizations of $k$-semistratifiable and $k$-MCM by expansions of set-valued mappings. It is shown that for a space $X$, the following statements are equivalent: (1) $X$ is $k$-semistratifiable; (2) for every metric space

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Poincare's recurrence theorems for set-valued dynamical systems
In this paper, we introduce a new concept called ‘a pair of coincident invariant measures’ and establish the existence of coincident invariant measures for set-valued dynamical systems.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

An Inexact Penalty Method for Non Stationary Generalized Variational Inequalities [PDF]
© 2014, Springer Science+Business Media Dordrecht. We consider a set-valued (generalized) variational inequality problem in a finite-dimensional setting, where only approximation sequences are known instead of exact values of the cost mapping and ...

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Continuity and Differentiability of Set-Valued Mappings
The concepts of continuity for set-valued mappings were introduced by G. Bouligand and K. Kuratowski. There are two ways defining differentiability of set-valued mapping.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

A local fixed point theorem for set-valued mappings on partial metric spaces
The purpose of this paper is to study the existence and location of fixed points for pseudo-contractive-type set-valued mappings in the setting of partial metric spaces by using Bianchini-Grundolfi gauge functions.
