The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Most rangelands along the agro-pastoral villages of Tanzania are yearlong grazed and at various states of degradation. These rangelands contribute to over 60% of the meat and milk production in the country. An inventory was conducted to assess the status

Partially Polynomial Kernels for Set Cover and Test Cover [PDF]
In a typical covering problem we are given a universe U of size n, a family S (S could be given implicitly) of size m and an integer k and the objective is to check whether there exists a subfamily S' \subseteq S of size at most k satisfying some desired

Genetic algorithm efficiency improvement in the course of set cover problem solution
Introduction. Practical tasks (location of service points, creation of microcircuits, scheduling, etc.) often require an exact or approximate to exact solution at a large dimension.

Hard Capacitated Set Cover and Uncapacitated Geometric Set Cover
The first part of this report describes the following result that, logarithmic approximation factor for hard capacitated set cover can be achieved from Wolsey's work [9], using a simpler and more intuitive analysis. We further show in our work, that O(log n) approximation factor can be achieved for the same problem by applying analysis of general set ...

Bernstein sets and $\kappa$-coverings
In this paper we study a notion of a $\kappa$-covering in connection with Bernstein sets and other types of nonmeasurability. Our results correspond to those obtained by Muthuvel and Nowik. We consider also other types of coverings.

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Complexity of approximating bounded variants of optimization problems
We study low degree graph problems such as Maximum Independent Set and Minimum Vertex Cover. The goal is to improve approximation lower bounds for them and for a number of related problems like Max-B-Set Packing, Min-B-Set Cover, and Max-B-Dimensional ...

The human gut microbiome across the life course
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.
