Se describe aquí el proceso de extracción, aislamiento y purificación para obtener un extracto crudo de β-D-glucanos de la seta comestible Pleurotus pulmonarius. A partir de una mezcla de micelio y cuerpos fructíferos del hongo (basidiocarpóforo), se preparó el extracto crudo, del cual se extrajeron β-D-glucanos en fracción acuosa y alcalina.

Birds, insects and air each host distinct fungal spore communities in a Japanese temperate forest; birds and insects act as selective vectors, while air provides maximal diversity. Our study highlights the importance of analysing multiple taxa to understand ecosystem‐level fungal spore dispersal and interactions.
