Design and Optimization of High‐Efficiency Se1‐xTex Thin‐Film Solar Cells via Interface and Back‐Contact Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Theory and Simulations, Volume 9, Issue 8, August 2026.
SCAPS‐1D modeling shows that bandgap‐engineered Se0.75Te0.25 (Eg ≈ 1.35 eV) can support high‐efficiency thin‐film photovoltaics through absorber, interface, and rear‐contact optimization. A MoOx‐based device reaches 21.94% PCE, while an HTL‐free configuration with a 5.5 eV rear‐contact work function achieves 21.59%.

Partitioning between primary and secondary metabolism of carbon allocated to roots in four maize genotypes under water deficit and its effects on productivity

open access: yesCrop Journal, 2015
Plants may respond to drought by altering biomass allocation to shoots and roots or by changing the metabolic activities in these organs. To determine how drought changes the partitioning of carbon allocated to growth and secondary metabolism in maize ...

Sete sonhos urbanos

What Is the Relationship Between Efficacy of Seed Treatment with Insecticides Against Dalbulus maidis (Delong and Wolcott) (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae) Healthy and Infected with Spiroplasm in the Corn Stunt Control?

open access: yesInsects
Seed treatments with insecticides are important tools for managing corn stunting disease complex (CSDC) transmitted by Dalbulus maidis (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae) by reducing the initial leafhoppers’ population and, consequently, the risk of pathogen ...
