Quantification of Antibiotic Diffusion in Biofilms Using Gold Nanostar Surface‐enhanced Raman Spectroscopy

Gold nanostar‐enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) enables real‐time, label‐free tracking of levofloxacin diffusion in intact biofilms. Nanostars embedded 16 µm below the surface detect drug arrival over time, revealing the impact of the biofilm matrix on antibiotic transport. Targeting Itga8 Mitigates Neurogenic Bladder Fibrosis Driven by Trem2⁺ Macrophage‐Derived Fn1 via FAK/RhoA/ROCK Signaling

Normal bladders exhibit quiescent fibroblasts/macrophages, whereas neurogenic bladders show acute‐phase Itga8⁺ fibroblast expansion driven by Trem2⁺ macrophage‐secreted Fn1, which activates FAK/RhoA/ROCK signaling, promotes cytoskeletal remodeling, and upregulates pro‐fibrotic genes.

Rapid Microfluidic Drug Sensitivity Testing Within 5 Days Using Minimal Clinical Tumor Samples

This study develops the air‐punched fabrication approach for nanoliter‐scale microcavity arrays with ultra‐smooth microcavity surfaces, with which rapid formation and 3D culture of tumor cell spheroids from small numbers of cell samples, as well as high‐throughput drug sensitivity testing can be achieved within 5 days.
