Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Differential isoform expression and alternative splicing in sex determination in mice
Background Alternative splicing (AS) may play an important role in gonadal sex determination (GSD) in mammals. The present study was designed to identify differentially expressed isoforms and AS modifications accompanying GSD in mice.

VaAPRT3 Gene is Associated With Sex Determination in Vitis amurensis
In the past decade, progress has been made in sex determination mechanism in Vitis. However, genes responsible for sexual differentiation and its mechanism in V. amurensis remain unknown.

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Within vertebrates, major sex determining genes can differ among taxa and even within species. In zebrafish (Danio rerio), neither heteromorphic sex chromosomes nor single sex determination genes of large effect, like Sry in mammals, have yet been ...

Morphometric Analysis Of The Ramus Of The Mandible For Sex Determination
Skeletal identification is the initial step in forensics and plays a major role in the identification process. Skull bone is known to show the second most sexual dimorphism, following pelvis with an accuracy rate of 92%. It is relatively hard to find an intact skull.

The human gut microbiome across the life course
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

Morphognostic Analysis of Fetal Ilium for Sex Determination
Sexing of an individual by skeletal remains can be well established by using pelvis in adults especially on fused bones only. Forensic fetal Osteology is the field which needs to be explored for sex determination. The 34 pairs of Fetal pelvis bones (>22 weeks and 22 weeks with 100% accuracy.

From mice to humans—divergent strategies for intestinal homeostasis and regeneration
Recent advances such as organoid genome editing, xenotransplantation, imaging, and whole‐genome sequencing have enabled direct studies of human intestinal stem cells (ISCs). These studies reveal species‐specific features, including slower ISC proliferation, distinct injury responses, slower somatic mutation accumulation in humans, and an inverse ...
