A comparison of the sensitivity of EQ-5D, SF-6D and TTO utility values to changes in vision and perceived visual function in patients with primary open-angle glaucoma [PDF]
Background: Economic viability of treatments for primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) should be assessed objectively to prioritise health care interventions.

Detecting proteins secreted by a single cell while retaining its viability remains challenging. A particles‐in‐particle (PiPs) system made by co‐encapsulating barcoded microparticles (BMPs) with a single cell inside an alginate hydrogel particle is introduced.

Discriminative validity of the EQ-5D-5 L and SF-12 in older adults with arthritis
Background The EQ-5D-5 L and the SF-12 are the most commonly used generic measures of health-related quality of life among people with arthritis. However, there is little evidence on the extent to which the individual dimensions and domains of these ...

Estimating the SF-6D Value Set for a Population-Based Sample of Brazilians [PDF]
SF-6D is a preference-based measure of health developed to estimate utility values from the SF-36. The aim of this study was to estimate a weighting system for the SF-6D health states representing the preferences of a sample of the Southern Brazilian general population.A sample of 248 health states defined by the SF-6D was valued by a sample of the ...

A Cu/Ag‐Cu bilayer tandem catalyst is designed for a pyramid‐structured p‐Si photocathode, creating multiple and functionally distinct interfaces tailored to specific reaction steps and intermediate stabilization. This Cu/Ag‐Cu‐decorated p‐Si photocathode exhibits both high photocurrent and good selectivity for photoelectrochemical CO2 reduction to CH4.

Loading Mode Dependence of Twin‐Twin Boundary Formation in a Textured Magnesium Alloy
The structures of twin‐twin boundaries formed by interactions between twin variants sharing the same or different zone axes in a deformed magnesium alloy are demonstrated. Lattice distortion around complicated interfaces promotes grain refinement in the subsequent thermomechanical process, enhancing the mechanical performance of magnesium alloys ...
