A systematic review of the validity and responsiveness of EQ-5D and SF-6D for depression and anxiety [PDF]

open access: yes
Background: Generic preference based measures (PBM) such as the SF-6D and EQ-5D are increasingly used to inform health care resource allocation decisions.

Mechanical Strain‐Programmed SDC1+ Sheath Fibroblasts Trigger CXCR4hi Neutrophil‐Mediated Enthesitis in Ankylosing Spondylitis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In ankylosing spondylitis (AS), mechanical strain‐programmed SDC1+ sheath fibroblasts secrete CXCL5 to recruit neutrophils and promote the activation of CXCR4hi neutrophils, thereby exacerbating enthesitis by promoting neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) formation. SOX5 controls the generation of SDC1+ sheath fibroblasts via super‐enhancers.

EGaIn‐Activated Bioinspired Silk Micro/Nanofibril Eutectogels Breaking the Strength–Conductivity Trade‐Off for High‐Performance Wearable Bioelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Inspired by the extracellular matrix, eutectogels are prepared by in situ deconstruction of silk fibroin into micro/nanofibrils and EGaIn‐induced polymerization. The multiscale fibril network with dynamic crosslinking achieves high strength (1.25 MPa), toughness (23.09 MJ m−3), and conductivity (1.51 S m−1), outperforming previous natural polymer ...

MCDA-based deliberation to value health states: lessons learned from a pilot study

open access: yesHealth and Quality of Life Outcomes, 2019
Background Health economists have shown a growing interest in deliberation and multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) as possible pathways to transparently integrate value judgments in cost-utility analyses.

Biomimetic Adaptive Hydrothermal Balance Fabric‐Based Dual‐Interface Solar Evaporator for Efficient and Stable Desalination

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study combines the biological structure of octopuses with the “3D structure” of spacer fabrics to fabricate a dual‐interface solar evaporator with adaptive hydrothermal balance. Water adaptation is achieved through the differentiated design of the upper and lower layers, and dynamic hydrothermal balance is realized by dynamically regulating the ...

Pharmacist-led management of chronic pain in primary care:costs and benefits in a pilot randomised controlled trial [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
To explore differences in mean costs (from a UK National Health Service perspective) and effects of pharmacist-led management of chronic pain in primary care evaluated in a pilot randomised controlled trial (RCT), and to estimate optimal sample size for ...

O sistema português de valores do SF-6D

open access: yes, 2009

Data‐Driven Design and Fabrication of Heat‐Resistant, Ultrastrong, Lightweight Aluminum‐Based Entropy Alloy by Additive Manufacturing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A data‐driven strategy integrating quantum machine learning (QML) and high‐throughput computing overcomes hot‐cracking limitation to design a novel lightweight aluminum‐based entropy alloy for additive manufacturing. The fabrication transforms brittle intermetallics into deformable hierarchical nanostructures, yielding ultrastrong strength (>1 GPa) and
