New Control Strategies for IGBT Based Bridge Type SFCL

This paper presents IGBT based bridge type SFCL. The paper proposes two different control strategies for short circuit current limiting optimization. Extensive simulations validate the proposed strategies. The simulation results are discussed and compared to the conventional thyristors topology control method.
