Shaking Table Model Test and Seismic Performance Analysis of a High-Rise RC Shear Wall Structure
A building developed by Wuhan Shimao Group in Wuhan, China, is a high-rise residence with 56 stories near the Yangtze River. The building is a reinforced concrete structure, featuring with a nonregular T-type plane and a height 179.6 m, which is out of ...

A case study on the failure of the electrical panel of nuclear power plants by shaking table tests
The clearest method to evaluate seismic performance is to test the equipment installed in nuclear power plants using shaking table tests. Accordingly, research is conducted to directly evaluate the seismic performance and limit state via shaking table ...

Centrifugal shaking table tests on soil liquefaction and progress of LEAP projects
The centrifugal shaking table test is one of the most promising approaches to study soil liquefaction problems. On one hand, it can reproduce seismic response and reveal the ground failure mechanism induced by soil liquefaction, providing the scientific ...

Mechanism study on the interaction effects of shaking table array-test structure
To study the interaction mechanism of shaking table-test structure in shaking table test, an analytical model of shaking table array-test structure was established. Based on the analytical model, the influence of structure damping, frequency, and shaking

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

An unexpected alternative interaction site for ethyl viologen was identified in formate dehydrogenase 1 from Methylorubrum extorquens. Combined mutagenesis, kinetic analysis, and docking revealed that aromatic residues near an iron–sulfur cluster enable flavin mononucleotide‐independent electron transfer, offering a framework for engineering improved ...

Design method of frequency similarity relation for shaking table model test
It is very important to determine the dynamic similarity relation in the shaking table model test. The accurate dynamic similarity relation can make the model reflect the dynamic characteristics of the prototype to the greatest extent.

Electron transfer between complexes III and IV in S. cerevisiae mitochondrial membranes
Mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation in S. cerevisiae mitoplasts is limited by complex IV catalytic capacity, rather than two‐dimensional cytochrome c diffusion. At physiological cytochrome c : supercomplex ratios at salinity equivalent to that of 20 mm monovalent salt, activity is maximized, indicating that this low ionic strength accurately mimics

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.
