Influences of different inclination modes on seismic response of inclined liquefiable site
In the study of the failure and large deformation of inclined site caused by lateral flow expansion of soil after seismic liquefaction, different inclined modes will have a certain impact on the test results, but the research results on the impact ...

Shake Table Tests on Infill Plasterboard Partitions [PDF]
Shaking table tests are performed to investigate the seismic behaviour of plasterboard partitions. A steel test frame is properly designed in order to simulate the seismic effects at a generic building storey. The tests are performed shaking the table simultaneously in both horizontal directions.

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...

Seismic Responses in Shaking Table Tests of Spatial Crossing Tunnels
To study the complex dynamic response characteristics of spatial crossing tunnels under seismic loads, shaking table model tests were carried out for typical spatial parallel, orthogonal, and oblique crossing tunnels.

Evolutionarily divergent DUF4465 domains have a common vitamin B12‐binding function
We show that DUF4465 family proteins, widespread across bacteria from gut microbiomes, hydrothermal vents, and soil, share a common vitamin B12‐binding function. These augmented β‐jellyroll proteins bind vitamin B12 via extended loops. Our findings establish sequence‐diverse DUF4465 proteins as a widespread class of B12‐binding proteins, highlighting ...

Seismic Behaviour of an Experimental Model Made of Thin-Walled Cold Formed Steel Profiles - Hardell Structures [PDF]
The experimental results of the shaking table test of a Hardell structure made of thin-walled cold formed steel profiles are presented. The structure has the in-plane dimensions of 4x4 m and a height of 6 m, being classified as a P+1E type of structure ...

Centrifugal shaking table tests on dynamic response of bucket foundation-sandy soil
In the sites with seismic intensity greater than 7 degrees, liquefaction identification of sandy soil within 15 m is required by the relevant seismic codes.

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

The MRP4 transporter exports several drugs and signaling molecules. Here, we identified key promoter elements regulating basal MRP4 expression. Using reporter assays, we defined a conserved region with essential Sp1 and contributory Ets sites, which controlled basal MRP4 expression.
