This study examines how washing modifies odors in post‐consumer polypropylene plastics. Different washing conditions are compared by using sensory panels and advanced chemical analysis. Hot and detergent‐based washing removes key odor‐causing compounds, replacing moldy notes with cleaner, soapy impressions.

Various new block copolymers of TDL and LA were produced through sequential polymerization. Some of them were shown to self‐assemble in nonpolar media such as isododecane, with particle formation. Their biodegradability was evaluated under OECD 301F conditions, and they can be slowly biodegraded only for short PLA blocks.

Abstract In March 2024, a Slovenian warmblood gelding presented with severe pruritus and skin lesions throughout its head, neck and around the base of the tail. The owners had observed increased pruritus in multiple animals within the herd. After careful examination, Bovicola equi were found in all five horses, but not the pony.

This study provides evidence of contact allergens in commonly provided hotel personal care products. Patients and clinicians should advocate for improved labelling of contact allergens in hotel personal care products. Additionally, hotels should offer low‐allergen alternatives for at‐risk guests.
