Technical Note: A minimally invasive experimental system for pCO2 manipulation in plankton cultures using passive gas exchange (atmospheric carbon control simulator) [PDF]
As research into the biotic effects of ocean acidification has increased, the methods for simulating these environmental changes in the laboratory have multiplied.

Micro-Injection Moulding of PEO/PCL Blend–Based Matrices for Extended Oral Delivery of Fenbendazole
Fenbendazole (FBZ) is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic administered orally to ruminants; nevertheless, its poor water solubility has been the main limitation to reaching satisfactory and sustained levels at the site of the target parasites.

Quantum Reverse Shannon Theorem [PDF]
Dual to the usual noisy channel coding problem, where a noisy (classical or quantum) channel is used to simulate a noiseless one, reverse Shannon theorems concern the use of noiseless channels to simulate noisy ones, and more generally the use of one ...

Shannon wavelets are studied together with their differential properties (known as connection coefficients). It is shown that the Shannon sampling theorem can be considered in a more general approach suitable for analyzing functions ranging in multifrequency bands. This generalization coincides with the Shannon wavelet reconstruction of L2(ℝ) functions.

A new proposed measure for estimating taxonomic diversity
Recently, Deng Entropy has been received attention and began to use in many real application. That entropic measure was improved in the Dempster-Shafer Evidential Theory (DSET) and based on the basic probability assignment. The present study offers a new

Quantifying the impacts of regulatory delay on housing affordability and quality in Austin, Texas [PDF]
textRegulatory delay during site plan review of multifamily projects in Austin has three primary impacts: 1) it generates unexpected development costs which increases housing prices over-time; 2) it stifles innovation and decreases quality of development;
