Thermoluminescent characteristics of synthetic hydroxyapatite (SHAp)
Applied Radiation and Isotopes, 2014This paper presents the experimental results of the thermoluminescent (TL) characteristics of synthetic hydroxyapatite (SHAp) obtained by the sol-gel method. For preparation of the SHAp powders, phosphorus pentoxide (P2O5) and calcium nitrate tetrahydrated (Ca(NO3)2-4H2O) were used. The powders obtained were submitted at different temperatures.

Land at Shap Wells Hotel, Shap, Cumbria: Archaeological Landscape Survey
2018Greenlane Archaeology carried out a desk-based assessment and Level 1 walkover survey of an area of land around the Shap Wells Hotel, Shap. The desk-based assessment revealed 27 sites of archaeological interest within the study area, ranging from a possible hillfort of prehistoric date to areas of post-medieval quarrying. Proceedings of the Society of Antiquaries of ScotlandThis article describes some of the stone circles that can be found near the village of Shap in England. The author gives approximate circumferences for each stone circle and notes the difficulty of taking these measurements as many of the stones have fallen from their original positions.
