A novel parameterized multiquadric quasi-interpolation operator with its optimal parameters
The shape parameter c plays a crucial role in determining the accuracy and effectiveness of multiquadric quasi-interpolation algorithm. However, a few works discuss the shape parameter c in multiquadric quasi-interpolation operator.

Shape preserving properties of the Bernstein polynomials with integer coefficients
The Bernstein polynomials with integer coefficients do not generally preserve monotonicity and convexity. We establish sufficient conditions under which they do. We also observe that they are asymptotically shape preserving.

Constrained Interpolation via Cubic Hermite Splines
Introduction In industrial designing and manufacturing, it is often required to generate a smooth function approximating a given set of data which preserves certain shape properties of the data such as positivity, monotonicity, or convexity, that is, a ...

IMPLEMENTATION OF 3D VOF TRACKING ALGORITHM BASED ON BINARY SPACE-PARTITIONING
The paper focuses on modelling free surface flow. The interface is modelled using the Volume-Of-Fluid method, where the advection of volume fractions is treated by a purely geometrical method.

Shape Preserving Properties of Some Positive Linear Operators on Unbounded Intervals
The author studies certain positive averaging operators on spaces of continuous functions that preserve monotonicity, convexity, or Hölder continuity. This is motivated by applications to regularity of semigroups generated by certain elliptic second-order differential operators.

On Soardi's Bernstein operators of second kind
We solve a problem, raised by Paolo Soardi, concerning the shape preserving properties of the Bernstein operators of second kind. We establish also a Voronovskaja-type formula for these operators.

On Baskakov operators preserving the exponential function
In this paper, we are concerned about the King-type Baskakov operators defined by means of the preserving functions \(e_{0}\) and \(e^{2ax},\ a>0\) fixed.

Approximation and geometric properties of some complex Bernstein-Stancu polynomials in compact disks
In this paper, the order of simultaneous approximation, convergence results of the iterates and shape preserving properties, for complex Bernstein-Stancu polynomials (depending on one parameter) attached to analytic functions on compact disks are ...

On Szász-Mirakyan type operators preserving polynomials
In this paper, a modification of Szász-Mirakyan operators is studied [1] which generalizes the Szász-Mirakyan operators with the property that the linear combination \(e_2 + \alpha e_1\) of the Korovkin's test functions \(e_1\) and \(e_2\) are ...
