Reliable methods to study some nonlinear conformable systems in shallow water
In this paper, consider the eminent coupled Boussinesq–Burger (BB) equations and the coupled Whitham–Broer–Kaup (WBK) equations with time fractional derivative arising in the investigation of shallow water waves.

ABSTRACT Background Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is the most common pediatric cancer, with an overall survival now surpassing 90% in developed countries. However, treatments are not without adverse effects. In this study, we apply the severe toxicity‐free survival (STFS) framework to determine the prevalence of 21 physician‐defined severe ...

ABSTRACT Background Type 1 plasminogen deficiency (PLGD‐1) is an ultra‐rare autosomal recessive disorder caused by variants in the PLG gene and affects approximately 1.6 individuals per million. The condition is characterized by decreased plasminogen levels and impaired function, resulting in fibrin‐rich lesions on mucous membranes throughout the body.

Application of shape optimization to brake squeal phenomena
The present paper describes an application of non-parametric shape optimization to disc brake squeal phenomena. The disk brake squeal is known as self-excited vibration; the real and imaginary parts of the complex eigenvalue indicate the damping ...

Isoperimetric inequality for an interior free boundary problem with p-laplacian operator
By considering the p-Laplacian operator, we establish an existence and regularity result for a shape optimization problem. From a monotony result, we show the existence of a solution to the interior problem with a free surface for a family of Bernoulli ...

Numerical differentiation methods for the logarithmic derivative technique used in dielectric spectroscopy [PDF]
In dielectric relaxation spectroscopy the conduction contribution often hampers the evaluation of dielectric spectra, especially in the low-frequency regime.

Derivation of error sources for experimentally derived heliostat shapes [PDF]
Data gathered using photogrammetry that represents the surface and structure of a heliostat mirror panel is investigated in detail. A curve-fitting approach that allows the retrieval of four distinct mirror error components, while prioritizing the best fit possible to paraboloidal terms in the curve fitting equation, is presented.
