Hemodynamically informed parcellation of cerebral FMRI data [PDF]
Standard detection of evoked brain activity in functional MRI (fMRI) relies on a fixed and known shape of the impulse response of the neurovascular coupling, namely the hemodynamic response function (HRF).

Image Retrieval Algorithm Based on Anisotropic Filtering Coupled with Relative Angular Location of Shape Centroid [PDF]
In order to solve the problem that it is difficult to detect the contour of the image based on the shape of the target,it can not take into account the global and local saliency, and the retrieval accuracy is not high.By introducing anisotropic filtering ...

Interspecies Knowledge Transfer for Facial Keypoint Detection
We present a method for localizing facial keypoints on animals by transferring knowledge gained from human faces. Instead of directly finetuning a network trained to detect keypoints on human faces to animal faces (which is sub-optimal since human and ...

ABSTRACT Background and Aims Wilms tumour (WT) has excellent event‐free and overall survival (OS). However, small differences exist between countries participating in the same international study. This led us to examine variation in adherence to protocol recommendations as a potential contributing factor.

Extracting Spatial Information from Noise Measurements of Multi-Spatial-Mode Quantum States
We show that it is possible to use the spatial quantum correlations present in twin beams to extract information about the shape of a mask in the path of one of the beams.

ABSTRACT Arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) are rare, high‐flow, vascular anomalies that can occur either sporadically or as part of a genetic syndrome. AVMs can progress with serious morbidity and even mortality if left unchecked. Sirolimus is an mTOR inhibitor that is effective in low‐flow vascular malformations; however, its role in AVMs is unclear.
