Shared micromobility: use, prospects, and public reaction

2021
My dissertation is composed of three analytical chapters that explore the newly introduced e-scooter and e-bike sharing services. After a decade of the rising popularity of bikesharing, micromobility sharing expanded with dockless vehicles, electric engines, smartphone-based service experience, and aggressive marketing strategies.

Toward Equitable Micromobility: Lessons from Austin E-Scooter Sharing Program

Journal of Planning Education and Research, 2021
This study revealed the inequitable societal impacts of E-scooters on disadvantaged populations. The study conducted a population distribution analysis to compare the use opportunities and space intrusion burdens of E-scooter sharing on four vulnerable population groups in Austin, Texas.
