Experimental study on shearing mechanical properties of silage corn plants
In order to obtain the shearing mechanical characteristics of the silage maize plant during the mechanized harvesting process, the Ludan 20, Quchen 9 and Hongdan 10 silage maize plants, which were widely planted in Yunnan, were used as the test objects ...

An Experimental Study on Mechanical Behavior of Parallel Joint Specimens under Compression Shear
In order to investigate the influence of the joint on the failure mode, peak shear strength, and shear stress-strain curve of rock mass, the compression shear test loading on the parallel jointed specimens was carried out, and the acoustic emission ...

Shear Mechanical Properties of Bolt-Grout Interface under Different Bolt Surface Profiles
The shear behavior of the Bolt-Grout interface has a significant effect on the stability of a bolting system. In this paper, a series of shear tests were conducted on Bolt-Grout interfaces, and the effects of rib spacing, rib angles, and normal stress on

As a result of the 2017 Pohang earthquake, numerous piloti-type structures incurred damage, and the cause was attributed to the wide spacing of transverse reinforcement. Improper spacing of transverse reinforcement can lead to brittle failure of columns,

Collapse Time of Reinforced Concrete Buildings with Brittle Columns
Buildings with brittle columns are in danger of gravity load collapse and may be hazardous in the event of future earthquakes. To plan for building evacuation, the time required for such buildings to collapse must be known.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Inversion analysis of M-C criterion parameters of rock based on uniaxial shearing failure
Based on different shear failure modes in rock uniaxial compression tests, the relationship among the uniaxial compressive strength, cohesion and internal friction angle is deduced by using the limit analysis method.
