Dynamics of a Resistive Sheet Pinch
The dynamic evolution and the saturated state of a long sheet pinch subject to growth of resistive tearing modes was investigated by numerical solution of the 2D MHD equations. Both the compressible and the incompressible equations were used, and the difference is found to be negligible. The necessity of considering a resistive equilibrium is stressed.

Mg–Zn composites with a thickness of 0.21 mm were fabricated using roll bonding of a kirigami‐patterned Mg alloy inlay within a Zn matrix. Thermal activation following this process led to the formation of tailored intermetallic structures, which provided the composite with enhanced flexural strength.

Criticality and turbulence in a resistive magnetohydrodynamic current sheet
Scaling properties of a two-dimensional (2d) plasma physical current-sheet simulation model involving a full set of magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) equations with current-dependent resistivity are investigated. The current sheet supports a spatial magnetic field reversal that is forced through loading of magnetic flux containing plasma at boundaries of the ...

Karl Popper and the Mechanisms of Hydrogen Embrittlement
Representation of the beginning of loss of ductility rather than embrittlement. Small concentrations of hydrogen in a diffusible form within iron are well‐established to harm the mechanical integrity of steels. There are theories that attempt to explain the pernicious role of hydrogen.

Modular Critical Element Recycling Platform Using a Nanoporous Additively Manufactured Gyroid
A modular recycling platform integrates 3D‐printed nanoporous gyroid structures to enable efficient critical element recovery. This system utilizes a hierarchical architecture, combining macroscopic channels with polymerization‐induced nanoscale porosity. By systematically tuning structural wall thickness and resin formulation, the platform achieves an

The results of a literature review on resistance to sheet flow are presented. The effects of surface roughness, rainfall, and vegetation are considered. At least in the case of laminar flow, it is found that the total flow resistance is the sum of the contributions of individual effects.

This study applies machine learning regression to predict chromium layer thickness in decorative trivalent chromium electroplating, using 441 experiments from laboratory‐scale (1L) and pilot‐scale (14L) setups. Tree‐based models, particularly CatBoost, outperformed linear regression by capturing nonlinear parameter interactions (R2$R^2$ up to 0.77 ...
