Shewanella oneidensis and Bacillus subtilis, both harboring prophages, reveal a novel biosynthetic route to scalable and programmable DNA superstructures in flower‐ and wire‐like shapes, respectively. Activation of prophages is achieved via 3‐hour starvation and monitored using reporter strains.

Beyond Probiotics: Postbiotics for Healthy Aquaculture
This critical review assesses limitations of probiotics and proposes postbiotics, preparations of inanimate microorganisms and their metabolites, as a more stable, controlled, and biosafe formulation. Postbiotics offer significant advantages during industrial aquafeed production and storage. However, their practical implementation is currently hindered

Ferulago angulata essential oil (FAEO) contains monoterpenes such as α‐pinene, limonene, sabinene, and (Z)‐β‐ocimene, which contribute to its antimicrobial activity and moderate antioxidant properties. Incorporation of FAEO into biopolymer‐based films and encapsulation systems can improve its stability, dispersion, and controlled release.
